They say that getting out of the city into the fresh air is good for the soul. When you get to do it with 5 other health conscious ladies, you know you’re going to be in for a treat. A healthy weekend in the mountains!
Last weekend I was super lucky to be invited to Burnbank House in Wentworth Falls, around 2 hours (less in good traffic) from Sydney for a weekend of collaborations, content creation, workouts, good food, exploring nature & lots of laughter!
Burnbank house was just beautiful. Recently renovated, and conservation listed. The house retained it’s stained glass windows, the original fire place and rustic charm of a federation home. It could not have been more beautiful. The kitchen had all equipment you could need for whipping up a delicious meal, great free unlimited wifi throughout the house. Plus, even in the midst of Blue Mountains Winter, we stayed toasty warm inside.
The house was just a short walking distance from the Wentworth Falls cafes, and 15minutes from the falls themselves, so was perfectly located for an active weekend away with friends.
Having a weekend away with like-minded friends was just wonderful. Friday evening we did HIIT workout together in the garage; followed by cheese, veggie, dips and fruit platters for dinner. On Saturday morning, a few of the girls slept in. The rest of us went for a run to Lincoln rock to watch the sunrise (approx 5km away). It was absolutely beautiful, and a definite highlight of the trip for me! Saturday afternoon was a hike near the 3 sisters. The rest of Saturday was spent photo taking, talking about busines tips, and how we could all work together to help make the world a healthier place. Sunday finished with a trail run to the Falls, breakfast, photo styling, and lots of laughs in between it all!

Taking the time to escape the city to relax in the clean air of the mountains, and staying at Burnbank House was such a treat, I will certainly be back to stay again!
